Dr. Josephine Leung
Dr. Josephine Leung completed high school in Thornhill after immigrating to Canada from Hong Kong in 1993. She received her B.Sc. (with high distinction) from University of Toronto in 1998, and her D.D.S. from the University of Western Ontario (with honours) where she also received the “Dr. Walter R. Teteruck Award” in Fixed Prosthodontics in 2002. Dr. Leung had been practicing in St. Catharines, Ontario for 4 years before coming to Richmond Hill in December 2006.
Dr. Leung is passionate about dentistry and is currently a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Toronto Implant Study Club, York Region Practical Dental Study Club. She is also actively attending continuous education courses to stay current with the new technology and developments in the dental field. She has attended many courses on cosmetic dentistry; implant dentistry, periodontics (gum disease), and management of temporomandibular disorder.
Dr. Leung enjoys the outdoors (hiking, camping, canoeing) and cooking during her leisure time. Dr. Leung is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Inna
Inna has been a level II dental assistant since 2003 from CDI college. She emigrated from Russia (where Inna was studying nursing) to Canada in the year 2000 and immediately embarked on studying the English language. She is national board certified.
Inna has a cheerful disposition, enjoys her profession immensely and likes to work with people from all demographics. She is fluent in Hebrew, English and Russian.
Farozan
Farozan has been working as a certified dental assistant and treatment coordinator for the past 10 years. She attended CDI for dental assisting Level I and George Brown college in which she has one more module remaining towards a level II dental assistant.
When she is away from the practice, Farozan enjoys outdoor activities with her family and reading. As your CDA I, she is confident that you will always be proud of your smile. Farozan is fluent in English and Farsi (Persian).
Suha
Suha has been a dental assistant for over 8 years before becoming a dental hygienist. She attended Oxford College for her dental hygiene diploma. She is an active member of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association. She is always attending continuing education seminars to upgrade her skills and knowledge. Suha is also knowlegable in the new PerioWave photodisinfection gum treatment technology.
Suha enjoys tavelling, cooking and swimming during her leisure time. She is fluent in English and Arabic.
Kathy
Kathy has been working as a dental hygienist for 9 years. She graduated in 1998 from Niagara College and obtained her dental hygiene diploma. Since then she has been an active member in these associations: College of Dental Hygienist, Ontario Dental Hygiene Association, Canadian Dental Hygiene Association, Periodontal Study Club. She is also a part-time student at the University of Toronto working towards her Bachelor of Science degree.
During her free time she enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and spending time with her family. Kathy is fluent in English and Greek.
Nav
Nav graduated in 1989 as a microbiology technician from Centennial College. She obtained a diploma in 1990 from CDI college in healthcare co-ordination and has been working as a dental office administrator for over 17 years.
Nav enjoys travelling, spending time with family, going to the gym and listening to music. She is fluent in English and Punjabi.
